This is a day solely devoted to fans of the Tamiya brand, an opportunity to run these iconic cars at the iconic Mendip circuit. This is a day for racers and enthusiasts alike. The morning will be open practice with the track available for all entrants to run their cars. In the afternoon there will be races for specific classes and sessions for non-racers to use the track.

The site will open at 9:00am with the track open at 10:00am, practice will run until 1:00pm and the afternoon racing and open sessions will begin at 1:30pm.

If you are not a regular racer and have not participated in organised race meetings at other clubs you are not required to be a member of the BRCA for this event. The Clubs BRCA affiliation allows non-BRCA members to attend this meeting on the same basis as those with membership.

All entrants have use of the track during open sessions, those also wishing to race must book in for their classes in advance.

During the open sessions any Tamiya electric cars can be run , if entrants wish to bring several cars to use during these sessions then this is permitted. Cars entered for specific classes will need to comply with the class rules.

F1 – M-Chassis – Stock Touring Car – FF Touring Car – Super Stock Touring Car – GT Touring Car

Additional Classes

Stock TT01e Truck – M-Chassis (Any)

Non-Racing track use during practice and between rounds.

Format (minimum)

3x qualifiers

1x Final

Open track between rounds for non-racers to run the track

Race Fees/Non-Racer Pass

  • Seniors -£8.00 first class/non-racer pass
  • Juniors (U16, non-racer pass/single race class only) – £4.00
  • Additional Classes – £2.00 per additional class (max 3 classes per person)
  • Booking in for a race class automatically includes track use during the open sessions.

A percentage of the entry fees will be donated to Parkinson’s UK the charity of the Iconic Cup.

Entries will be limited, entrants will automatically be added to the reserve list once the limit is reached. Racers that are unsuccessful in securing a place at the meeting will have their payment refunded in full.

Tamiya electric powered vehicles only. The committee reserves the right to ask unsuitable vehicles to be removed from the track. All club rules, terms and conditions of use and privacy policies apply at all times.

  • Tamiya truck stock class – built as per kit, gear ratio as per kit, kit wheels tyres (no gluing tyre side walls, no inserts), kit standard silver can motor, batteries 6 cell/2s only, friction stocks, bearings and additional heat sink permitted.
  • Open M-Chassis – any Tamiya M-Chassis
