Camping

We are lucky at Mendip RC Raceway to have areas surrounding the tracks that are suitable for camping.  Although we only have basic facilities, it is available 7 days a week, all year round:

  • Flat grass areas
  • Suitable for tents, caravans and camper vans
  • 5 pitches with water supplies (pre-booked by email only, see below).
  • Toilets open 24/7
  • Water tap available 24/7 (next to the toilets)
  • Please Note – there is NO electricity on site
  • Please Note – NO Showers

Anyone racing in an event we are hosting can come and camp for race meetings.

All camping must be paid for in advance via the payment form below.

Payment is taken via PayPal.  Please print your receipt and bring it with you as proof of payment. Failure to provide proof of payment for camping or track usage will result in you and your party being asked to leave the site.

Pitches are first come first served in the open areas but the club reserves the right to restrict the use of any area.

Those paying for camping, or using the site for camping or members of their parties have no right of access, assumed or otherwise, to the tracks, car parks or pit areas of the Mendip RC Raceway facilities other than toilet facilities granted at the clubs discretion. Each person wishing to use the track facilities will need to purchase their own full or day membership for the club.

The camping areas are not managed by the club, but the club acts as a intermediary for arranging payment for camping and bookings and payment must be made via the club as is the agreement with our landlord.

Current camping costs (inc Paypal fees):

£7.50 per pitch/tent per night for open camping
£8.50 per pitch/tent per night for pitches 1-5 with water

Open camping at any other time

If your interested in camping at Mendip RC Raceway in between race meetings for access to the tracks for practice, then that is also ok!

You must either be a club member, or buy day memberships for each person using the track, to cover your track time during your stay.

Camping in between race meetings must also be pre-paid so we know you are coming and can make sure you get access to the site if you’re not a member.  Please use the payment links below to pay for camping.
